摘要
文章分析了新时期以来,世情、国情、侨情发生重大变化的背景下,华侨华人在传承和弘扬中华文化方面出现的一些新特点,并简要分析了其中的原因。认为华侨华人不仅是中华文化的继承者、实践者,也是中华文化对外传播的桥梁和纽带,在中外文化交流方面具有独特的作用,做出了重要贡献。新时期华侨华人传播中华文化具有四方面特点:华侨华人社团的作用更加突出、中华文化传播的领域更加广泛、传播中华文化趋于常态化、华裔对中华文化的认同不断加强。这些新特点的产生,主要基于三方面的原因:中国综合国力的提升推动了中华文化的传播、海外侨情的新变化助推中华文化的传播、侨务部门着力打造侨务文化品牌发挥积极作用。
This paper analyses the new characteristics of overseas Chinese communities, and argues that they carry and spread Chinese culture in their host countries in response to the changes in the world. The overseas Chinese are not only the successors and practitioners of Chinese culture but also serve as the bridge and nexus to spread Chinese culture abroad. Overseas Chinese play an important role in Chinese- Foreign cultural exchanges, which can be summarized in four aspects： the increased influences of overseas Chinese communities in local societies, the increasing scope of the spread of Chinese culture in a wider range, the expanded cultural influence in a more consistent and rigorous form and the reinforced identification to Chinese culture. Three reasons contribute to these new characteristics： China＇s economic booming, the situation of overseas Chinese abroad and the Chinese government＇ s emphasis on overseas Chinese.
