摘要
城市竞争力的高低是决定城市发展潜力的重要因素,全面科学地评价城市竞争力是决定城市未来发展战略和方向的基础。文中从经济、社会、科教、环境竞争力4大方面建立了西北地区城市竞争力评价指标体系。采用主成分分析法,对西北地区30个地级城市的竞争力作出定量评价,进而研究了城市竞争力在2004、2007、2011年三个时间断面上的演变特征,对城市竞争力排序进行了比较分析。在此基础上,提出了西北地区城市竞争力的提升措施。
The Urban competitiveness is an important factor in determining the level of urban development poten- tial; a comprehensive scientific evaluation of urban competitiveness is the basis for determining the city＇s future development strategy and direction. The study established an evaluation index system for urban competitiveness in Northwest China from four major areas： the economic, social, science and education, and environmental com- petitiveness. Using the principal component analysis, the urban competitiveness of 30 prefecture -level cities in Northwest China were evaluated quantitatively, and then the urban competitiveness in 2004, 2007 and 2011 and the evolvement characteristics were studied to make a comparative analysis of the sort of city competitiveness. Then we put forward some countermeasures to improve the urban competitiveness of Northwest China.
