Collision Simulation of Minibus at High Speed

摘要 Collision properties of minibus when traveling at high speed are studied. Based on the display dynamics and basic theoretical of contact collision analysis, the front crash finite element model of minibus is built by Hypermesh. The model is simulated under the 50 km/h by ANSYS/Ls-Dyna solver. Finally, the deformation of the front rail, B pillar acceleration curve and the steering column intrusion are got. It is important to improve safety design for minibus.
