Numerical Simulation on Inlet/Outlet in the Lower Reservoir of Pumped Storage Station Based on Different Turbulence Models

摘要 为验证不同湍流模型对抽水蓄能电站侧式进出水口模拟的适应性,分别运用Realizable k-ε湍流模型及RNG k-ε湍流模型对某抽水蓄能电站下库侧式进/出水口水力特性进行三维数值模拟,得到了进/出水口和闸门井段、下弯段的水头损失系数及进/出水口各流道的流速分布图。与物理模型试验数据进行比较表明,这两种数值模型均可达到一定的精度,且都方便快捷,与RNG k-ε模型的模拟结果相比,Realizable k-ε湍流模型具有更高的精度。 In order to verify the adaptability of different turbulence models which simulated the side inlet / outlet of pumped storage power station,the hydraulic characteristics of the side inlet / outlet in the lower reservoir of pumped storage station had been simulated numerically with RNG k- ε and realizable k- ε turbulence model. The paper simulated the head loss coefficients between gate shaft and inlet / outlet,in the lower bending section,and the distribution of velocity in each flow passage channel. The comparison between the numerical results and the data of physical model test verify the reliability and accuracy of the two models mentioned above. Comparison between realizable k- ε turbulence model and RNG k- ε demonstrate that realizable k- ε turbulence model has higher accuracy.
