The Theory,Technology and Method on Visualization of Digital Resources

摘要随着数字资源规模的迅速增长,传统的资源展示方式已无法满足用户的需求,可视化是一种很好的解决方案。数字资源可视化的实现需要理论、技术及方法的支撑,但目前发展并不成熟,缺乏系统性。在对可视化理论框架进行梳理后,根据可视化的流程,将可视化技术分为数据转换、可视化映射以及视图转换三大类,而可视化实现方法的选择则需要考虑具体的任务类型。可视化技术在数字资源中的广泛应用是必然趋势,但资源规模、类型和用户需求都是需要考虑的关键问题。 With the rapid growth of digital resources, the traditional display method of resources can＇t meet the user needs. Visualization is a good solution. The realization of digital resources visualization needs the support of theories, technologies and methods. But at present their development is not very mature and systematic. After analyzing the framework of visualization theories, according to the visual flow, the visualization technology can be divided into data conversion, visual mapping and view transformation. Users need to select the appro- priate visualization method according to specific tasks. The extensive usage of visualization technology is an inevitable trend, but resource scale, resource types and user needs are the key issues.
