奥卡西平对老年癫痫患者认知功能的影响 被引量:14

Effects of Oxcarbazepine on Cognitive Function of Elderly Patients with Epilepsy

摘要 目的:评估奥卡西平单药治疗老年癫痫患者的认知功能的改变。方法:应用简易精神状态检查(MMSE)、日常生活能力量表(ADL)以及ACE-R量表对126例未经治疗的老年癫痫患者治疗前、治疗1个月后及治疗后6个月进行问卷调查。结果:奥卡西平对新诊断的老年癫痫患者在顺行性记忆、回忆与识别、语言的流畅性、命名、语言的理解和写作及空间知觉能力方面的评分都有显著改善(P<0.05;P<0.01)。结论:奥卡西平长期单药治疗对老年癫痫患者认知功能有保护作用。 Objective:To explore the effect of oxcarbazepine(OXC)on cognitive function and quality of life in elderly patients newly diagnosed with epilepsy,using Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),ADL,and ACE-R.We report on 126 patients newly diagnosed with epilepsy in the elderly who were assigned to OXC.Methods:All 126 patients were examined with MMSE,ADL,and ACE-R before and 1month,6months after treatment with OXC.Results:Newly diagnosed epilepsy in the elderly patients,who had taken oxcarbazepine,exhibited a significantly better performance(P〈0.05,P〈0.01)in anterograde memory,recallment,verbal fluency,language comprehension and writing ability,identification,and spatial cognitive abilities.Conclusion:The results of this study suggest that OXC is effective to preserve cognitive functions and behavioral abilities as long-term monotherapy in epilepsy of the elderly.
