摘要
该文回顾了中外翻译史上音译理论的发展历程,并在此基础上结合可译性和可译性限度的概念,就"Tuhao"这一"土豪"英译本所呈现的音译特点在形式和方式上进行了总结,并在三方面讨论了当今汉译英音译这一翻译手段所呈现的新趋势,目的是在加深对音译方式发展趋势了解的基础上,拓宽音译在翻译实践中的应用.
Based on the historical development of transliteration and the concept of translatability , this paper at-tempts to explore the new trends of transliteration in Chinese -to-English translation in terms of discussing the characteristics presented in “Tuhao”, the transliterated form of a specific word in Chinese social media , with the purpose of extending the means of transliteration in translating practices.
