摘要
《老人与海》这部经典作品一直受到广大评论家的青睐,然而,对于作品中的两个重要角色"狮子"和"小男孩"的论述却颇为少见。在认知诗学视阈框架内,运用概念整合理论和可能世界理论分别透析狮子和小孩,狮子意指老人宗教的信仰,小男孩乃是老人年幼时的缩影。
The classical work " The Old Man and the Sea" has been favored by many critics. However, as the two important roles in this novel, "lion" and "little boy" did not attract enough atten- tion. Under the framework of cognitive poetics, through analyzing "lion" and "little boy" by means of conceptual blending theory and possible world theory, it can be found that "lion" refers to the old man's religious faith and "little boy" is the young miniature of the old man.
