The technic characteristic and physical property on the processing technology of magnesium alloys is summarized, and its the present situation and the trend of the future development are analyzed and discussed. Based on the economy and the needs of market, production cost on the processing technology of magnesium alloys is analyzed, and promising prospects of the application of the technology in automobile industry are pointed out.
