摘要
道光二十年至二十五年 (184 2— 184 5 ) ,林则徐被革职遣戍新疆伊犁 ,这是林则徐仕途当中最为失意的一段时间。伊犁将军布彦泰非但没有按惯例对“谪宦”林则徐进行严密监视 ,反而对他相当敬重 ,礼待有加 ,为一无官职的林则徐在西北边陲实现“匡时济世”之志提供了条件。林在新疆期间同布彦泰等地方封疆大吏密切合作 ,参与地方军政大事 ,捐修水利 ,查勘垦田 ,共同为新疆的经济开发与边防事业作出了巨大贡献。
From 1842 to 1845 Emperor Daoguang princes,LIN Ze xu was removed from office and sent to garrison the frontiers in Yili , Xinjiang .During that time ,LIN was falling frustrated in his office career . Yili General Buyantai highly esteemed him and gave him preferential treatment instead of keeping a strict lookout over LIN according to the usual practice . The General provided not any official position LIN in northwest frontier with conditions to realize his will to recover the Qing dynaspiration of kuangshijishi . LIN had a close cooperation with Buyantai , participating in military political problems , contributing money to build irrigation works, surveying reclamation fields. So LIN had a great contribution on development and frontier defense in Xinjiang .
