It is necessary not only to study reservoir parameters but also to rock pore structure for formation evaluation. The advent and application of NMR technology provide a new and effective method to reserch pore structure. Through probing the relationship between T 2 distributions and capillary pressure curves measured on shale sandstone core samples, a transformation for each other is established, which, therefore, supports the research of pore structure with T 2 distribution theoretically and methodologically.
