This article is trying to introduce a new method of evaluating and optimizing a product or process design in the early stage of designing, which is very popular in the large American companies-FMEA,(Potential) Failure Modes and Effects Analysis. It will he a very helpful tool of foreseeing the potential failure modes and taking actions to prevent it before the failure happening.
