艾丽斯·沃克作为当代非裔女作家杰出代表,作品关注保持非洲文化和黑人女性命运等多个角度。世界主义关注世界作为一个整体,强调爱——升华到对国家、世界和民族的爱。艾丽斯·沃克作品中体现人类对自然之爱,强调人与自然和谐相处;在关注本民族文化的同时,倡导文化多样性,体现对其他民族文化的尊重和热爱。
As one of the most outstanding representative of African-American female writer, Alice Walker focuses on a variety of topics such as preserving African culture and the destiny of African women. Cosmopolitanism tends to see the world as one integrity and love extended to the country, the world and the nation. The works of Alice Walker manifest the love of nature of human beings, thus resulting in the harmony existence between human and nature. Alice Walker focuses on African culture as well as respecting and loving other nation’s culture.
