摘要
1998年进行了应用东北林业大学研制的标准褪黑激素 (MT)植入物促进银狐生长和毛皮早熟的研究 .对 6 5只成年狐和 2 8只幼狐 (1～ 3月 ) ,分 4批和不同剂量进行MT埋植 .试验研究表明 ,应用MT处理银狐安全有效 .埋植褪黑激素后银狐表现为食欲旺盛、生长增快、睡眠增长、死亡率下降 .成年银狐其毛皮可以提前 30～ 70d成熟 ;幼狐可以提前 15～ 30d成熟 .本试验中最佳MT埋植时间在 6月 10日左右 ,埋植剂量的差别对结果无明显不同 .同时狐皮质量提高 。
Study on advancing the growth and the maturation of winter fur in silver fox treated with melatonin implants was conducted in 1998. During the investigation, sixty_five adults and twenty_eight kits (1～3 months) were divided into four groups and treated with different doses. The results showed that the melatonin implants were safe for silver fox health and efficient for early maturation of winter fur. The animals treated with melatonin implants appeared to have more food appetite, more rate of growth, more time of sleep, and smaller mortality. After treated with melatonin implants, the maturation of winter fur of adults occurred about 30～70 days earlier than controls, however, that of kits occurred only about 15～30 days earlier than controls in the author's study, the optimum time to implant melatonin is about June 10. No significant different results were caused by different dose. At the same time the quality of the winter fur was improved and the length of the winter fur was increased.
