黄肢散白蚁无翅补充型的产生及其外部形态的扫描电镜观察 被引量:2

摘要 本文报导黄肢散白蚁实验小群体工蚁产生无翅补充型的情况。实验证明:在室内饲养的黄肢散白蚁工蚁,在脱离原来群体一个半月至两个月左右,便可产生无翅补充繁殖蚁,再经半个月左右,无翅补充型开始产卵,且实验群体越大,产生的补充型越多,产卵量也越大。在五个月的试验中,由20头散白蚁(工蚁19头、兵蚁1头)构成的群体,其产生的补充型产卵32粒,孵出幼蚁11.5头;160头散白蚁(工蚁152头、兵蚁8头)构成的群体,其产生的补充型产卵多达193粒,孵出幼蚁79.7头。电镜观察结果:黄肢散白蚁无翅补充型无复眼,触角16节,雌性腹部第1、8、9腹板退化;雄性第1腹板退化,第8、9腹板仍保存,且第9腹板中央具腹刺一对。 The workers of Reticulitermes flaviceps (Oshima) from field colony were reared in laboratory colonies to observe the differentiation of replacement reproductives. It was shown that the third-form reproductives could be produced from the workers within 45—65 days after separation from the field colony. Colonies varying in size produced the various number of replacement reproductives. The experiment colonies with 20 individuals (19 workers and 1 soldiers) produced 2 neotenics and colonies raring in number from 40 to 160 individuals (95% of workers and 5% of soldiers) produced about 3 neotenics. The sex-ratio of neotenics was ca. 1 to 3 females for every male.The apterous neotenics lack compound eyes and have 16 antennal segments. The first, eighth and ninth abdominal sternites of female neotenics are reduced. In the males, the first sternites is reduced and there is a pair of unjointed styli on the posteromedial margin of the ninth abdominal sternite.
