通过对支持计算机辅助居住区规划设计的数据库管理原型系统的开发 ,讨论了在 Auto CAD环境下开发开放式图形数据库管理系统的有关问题 ,重点介绍了有关数据库的组织与结构、数据库的操作及其与图形用户界面结合的实现等技术问题 .该技术适用于一般工程设计领域中支持用户扩充的专用
Technical issues in developing extendible graphic database management system were discussed. The emphasis was put on the organization and structure of database, implementation of functional operations, especially the coordination of database functions with graphic user interface. The strategies described here will also support the development of special purpose CAD systems in most engineering design fields.
