摘要
王懿荣发现甲骨文，使中国的语言文字学发生了划时代的变化。本文以一百年来中外学者对甲骨文的集、发掘、著录、研究及其产生的深远影响的事实为依据，从语言文字学的角度论述了王懿荣发现甲骨文对古文字学和汉语史研究的价值和意义，肯定了王懿荣发现甲骨文的巨大贡献。
This paper affirms the significance of the discovery of ancient inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells by WANG Yirong from the angle of linguistics and philology. The discovery of ancient inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells by WANG Yirong has attracted scholars at home and from abroad to collect, unearth, conduct resarches and write reports over the last one hundred years and has brought about epoch-making changes in the studies on linguistics and philology in China, especially in the field of paleography and history of the Chinese language, and with far-reaching influences.
