Butyl rubber(IIR), polyisobutylene(PIB), methyl methacrylate(MMA) and other secondary processing products with high additional value can be produced by pure isobutylene from MTBE cracking. The technology development situation and market development trend of IIR, PIB and MMA at home and abroad were introduced in this paper, and advice on domestic development and production have been pointed out.
