研究了两种耐磨黄铜的显微组织和机械性能。研究结果表明。当在二元黄铜中加入少量Mn和Si,在β′基体中会形成硅化物Mn_5Si_3;而Fe、Mn、Si的同时加入则会形成另一种硅化物Fe_3Si。Mn_5Si_3和Fe_3Si都有提高合金强度和耐磨性能的作用;而Fe_3Si在改善耐磨性能方面的作用比Mn_5Si_3更显著。铝的加入可以提高合金的强度,但却导致塑性的明显降低。
This paper is an investigation of microstructures and mechanical properties of two wear resistant brasses. The results of the investigation indicate that small amount additions of Mn and Si to binary brass result in the formation of the silicide Mn_5Si_3 in the β' matrix; while combined additions of Fe, Mn and Si cause the formation of another silicide Fe_3Si. Both Mn_5Si_3 and Fe_3Si have the effect of increasing thestrength and wear resistance of the brasses. However, Fe_3Si is more effective in improving the wear resistance of the alloy than Mn_5Si_3. Al addition gives the increase in strength, but results in a significant decrease in plasticity.
