摘要
饱受汽车拥堵困扰的阿布扎比,迫切需要寻求向可持续交通发展的转变,《阿布扎比街道设计手册》(以下简称《手册》)应运而生。《手册》以步行优先为前提,以体现多元需求平衡为特色,按照行人-公共交通-自行车-机动车顺序划分通行优先权等级。同时结合"用地环境属性"与"道路承载力属性"提出街道分类与指引,尤其在街道功能划分与模块化横断面设计方面独具特色。在引导阿布扎比的街道设计向更人性化和可持续发展转变的同时,其诸多创新和亮点同样值得中国城市在发展转型中借鉴,以促进城市交通发展模式的稳步转型。
To relieve severe traffic congestion and promote the transformation to sustainable transportation development, Urban Street Design Manual has been released by Abu Dhabi. Emphasizing pedestrian priori-ty and multi-demand balancing, the manual proposes to allocate right-of-way in order of pedestrian, public transit, bicycle, and motorized vehicles. Based on land use context and roadway capacity, the manual pres-ents the street classification and corresponding guidelines as well as functional classification and standard cross-section design. While promoting people-oriented and sustainable street design in Abu Dhabi, the manual is also helpful for the transformation of urban transportation development patterns in China.
