摘要
材料计算学是一门前沿交叉学科,在提高材料高级科学发现、缩短材料开发和产业化周期方面发挥着重要的作用。美国、欧盟、日本等世界主要国家都非常注重材料计算与模拟的发展,组织实施了相关的研究计划和项目。特别是2011年6月美国发布的"材料基因组计划"引起了各国对材料计算与模拟的进一步重视。我国也于2011年12月召开"材料科学系统工程"香山会议,重点研讨材料计算与模拟的发展。主要从国家和主要研究机构的角度对最新的材料计算与模拟战略和计划进行分析,以期对我国的研究提供有益的参考和建议。
Computational material science is a cutting- edge interdisciplinary, and plays an important role to improve ma- terial scientific discoveries and shorten the cycle of material development and industrialization. The United States, Europe- an Union, Japan and other major countries in the world attach great importance to the development of the computational materials and material simulation, and implement many research programs and projects. "Materials Genome Initiative" published by the United States in June 2011 has aroused further attention on computational materials and material simulation of other countries. China Xiangshan Science Conference on materials science systems engineering was also held in Decem- ber 2011. In this paper, the recent progress on computational materials in some countries and research institutions was ana- lyzed in order to provide some useful recommendations on China.
