倍频程正交模耦合器设计

Design of an Octave-bandwidth Orthomode Transducer

摘要 介绍了一种基于四脊方波导结构的倍频程宽带正交模耦合器,分析了该宽带正交模耦合器的基本结构和工作原理,用HFSS仿真设计了一个S波段正交模耦合器,加工了实际样机,进行了测量,仿真和测量结果显示,测试数据同仿真结果在2:1的频带内符合良好。 An octave-bandwidth orthomode transducer based on quad-ridged rectangular waveguide geometry is described. The structure and working principle of the orthomode transducer are introduced. The S-band version orthomode transducer has been designed and simulated with ansoft's HFSS, the design is manufactured and then tested. Measurements show that, the measured resuits agree well with the simulation predictions over a 2 : 1 bandwidth ratio.
