摘要
交通岛在城市交叉口运用越来越广泛,与公路上的交叉口交通岛相比,除了具有分隔交通流向的功用,还担负着保障行人、非机动车安全有序通行的功用。但在实际应用中,交通岛设置以后,在部分路口出现了交通拥堵现象,甚至人为造成非机动车在机动车道上通行现象增多,形成安全隐患。本文就宁波市部分设置了交通岛路口的行人、非机动车通行情况进行分析,并就在较大非机动车流量情况下路口交通岛设置必要性进行探讨。
The traffic island is more and more widely used in the urban intersection. Comparing to the traffic island in highway intersection, in addition to the function with segregating traffic flows, the traffic island in the urban intersection also charged with the protection function of pedestrian and bicycle safety and orderly traffic. However, in practical applications, with traffic island setting, some traffic jams even non-motor vehicles going on vehicle lane traffic phenomenon appear, which caused the security risks. This article analysis the phenomenon of pedestrian and non-motor vehicle in part of the intersection of traffic island setting in Ningbo, then discuss the need of setting traffic island in larger non-motor vehicle traffic intersection.
