摘要
采用"音乐与身份的自我叙述"这一独特视角,结合有关身份认同的后现代理论,以及流行音乐理论,对小说的人物、主题思想、情节、结构、叙事方法等进行了认真分析,探讨了小说与"身份认同"的后现代理论与流行音乐,特别是爵士乐之间的内在联系,认为黑人女作家莫里森的《爵士乐》是一部挑战美国主流文学的力作。
From the unique perspective of ＂music and self-narrative of identities＂, combined with the post-modern theory of identity and theory of popular music, the novel＇s characters, theme, plot, structure and narrative methods of Toni Morrison＇s novel, Jazz, are carefully analyzed. The intrinsic link between the novel and the postmodern theory of identity and pop music, especially jazz, is discussed. ＂Jazz＂ is considered a challenge to mainstream American literary.
