摘要
注重观点的分析、批判,是荀子思想的特点之一。在《解蔽》、《非十二子》、《天论》等篇中,荀子对其同时代的或较早时期的诸子思想,从不同方面作了反省、批评,并由此展现了自身的思想趋向及哲学立场。这里以《非十二子》为主要对象,考察和诠释荀子学术批判的内在意蕴。与外在的评论有所不同,荀子对十二子的分析考察基于荀子自身的基本哲学立场。以"群"为人禽之分的社会本原,荀子将秩序提到重要地位,合群意味着建构社会之序;以礼为"道德之极",荀子则同时将注重之点指向礼义等普遍规范。以上两重视域在相当意义上构成了荀子批评先秦其他诸子的前提,而秩序与规范本身则进一步被赋予多方面的内涵。
In Chapter against the Twelve Scholars, Xun Zi criticized the scholars in his times or before his times from his own philosophical perspective. Taken qun (society) as the fundamental determinant which made human beings different from oth- er animals, Xun Zi gave social order a priority : for him, establishment of society meant at the same time the formation of social order. Taken li (rituals/norms) as supreme determinant of being, Xun Zi paid close attention to norms. The above two perspectives consist of the preconditions for Xun Zi' s criticism of other scholars, and the contents as well as the meaning of norms and order were enriched and deepened as Xun Zi developed his criticism.
