摘要
运用图像处理技术,设计了基于图像的电表读数系统.首先应用中值滤波和最大类间方差法对电表图像进行预处理,通过数学形态学对图像进行处理,再根据表盘区域的几何特征对其进行定位,最后用模板匹配法实现字符识别.实验结果表明,该检测系统有效、算法操作简单,为实际电表收费管理提供了依据.
Based on the technology of image processing,the electric meter reading system has been designed.First,median filter and Otsu algorithm were applied for pre-processing.By contrast,mathematical morphology was used for image processing.Secondly,according to the geometric characteristics of the dial plate,the character region location was located.Finally,the template matching was used for character recognition.The experiment shows that this system is effective,the algorithm 's operation is simple and the algorithm has a better application value in Meter Charge Management.
