摘要
以TI公司生产的Stellaris系列芯片型号LM3S8962作为核心系统,设计了一种串口服务器。该型号芯片集成了1个10M/100M以太网控制器,采用TCP/IP Socket访问终端服务器串口全部数据包通信模式,实现了客户端和服务器的高性能应用,保证了通信系统准确、稳定地进行数据交换,实现了数据传输的实时性。此外,该服务器采用LWIP精简协议,降低了操作系统的高额软件费用,以及远距离通信传输成本。
Based on LM3S8962 by TI Company, an Ethernet Serial Port Server was designed. LM3S8962 has integrated an Etbernet controller of IOM/IOOM. Its communication mode adopt TCP/IP Socket accessing all serial port data package of terminal. The client terminal and server terminal performed well, and the data exchange could be conducted exactly and steadily. The data could be transmitted real-timely. Moreover, the server adopt LWlP tidy protocol, thus reducing the costs of the operating system as well as the cost of long distance communication and transmission.
