摘要
语用原则为分析小说的语言特征提供了新的方法,使人们能够准确获悉交际者的意图和行为,更好地理解人物的性格特点。文章通过对班纳特太太典型话语的语用分析,发现话语对凸显其性格特点不可或缺的作用,并解读了语用原则背后班纳特太太形象的另外一面,有利于对作品及作者用心进行深入理解。
A fresh way out of Pragmatic Principles is offered to analyze dialogues from novels,which helps people understand the characteristics of novel figures and catch the intention of speakers.This paper finds the distinctive indispensableness of Mrs.Bennett's speeches,which helps to shape her figure.And meanwhile this paper illustrates the fresh side of the figure of Mrs.Bennett by way of Pragmatic Analyses,which helps catch another side of this novel and the ideas of Jane Austen.
