摘要
乳铁蛋白(lactoferrin,Lf)是重要的天然免疫分子,在外分泌液以及粘膜上皮中高表达。近年来,乳铁蛋白调控炎症反应的机制逐渐被发现,扩展了乳铁蛋白的临床运用前景。乳铁蛋白可通过增强天然免疫细胞活性、减少细胞因子的释放、减少炎症部位免疫细胞的募集以及剔除微生物的铁离子等机制发挥抗炎症作用。这些机制加深了我们对天然免疫-炎症反应-适应性免疫之间关联的理解。
Lactoferrin is a key molecular in innate immunity, which abundantly expresses in exocrine fluids and epithelial cells of mucosal. In recent years, the mechanisms of lactoferrin that modulates the inflammatory response have been revealed, which facilitates the clinical application of lactoferrin. Lactoferrin exerts anti-inflammatory effects via activating the innate immune cells, decreasing the release of cytokines, reducing immune cell recruitment at inflammatory sites and depriving iron ions from microbes. Exploring these complex mechanisms can offer us a better understanding of the connection among innate immunity, inflammatory response and adaptive immunity.
