The parade of fish carts always is associated with the scenes of Kunlun, the Queen Mother of the West, constellations, mythical animals, and deities of lightning storm. Among these scenes, some of them might be related to the representation of Hebo (River Deity). No matter whether these motifs were related to Hebo or not, the parade scene clearly reflects the occupant's will of becoming immortality. As it was believed that the Yellow River originates from Kunlun, and the mythical legends of Hebo were somehow related to Kunlun during that time, such type of iconogmphy expressed the occupant's wish of getting the help from Hebo for riding the fish wagons in order to advance towards Kunlun and become immortality.
