摘要
现代有轨电车与快速公交BRT为两种功能上比较接近的公共交通,分别从运能、运行速度、经济性、节能环保和美观等角度系统分析对比两种交通方式,并根据我国不同城市规模、特点,提出其发展有轨电车的应用模式,为今后旨在为后期工程实践提供参考依据。
It is well-recognized that modern tramways and BRT（Bus Rapid Transit）almost have the same function as the public transportation. A comparative study is conducted from the perspective of transport capacity, operation speed, economy, energy saving, environment protection and landscape. The application model of modern tramways is presented according to different scales and characteristics of cites in China. It will provide useful guide for the practice in the future.
