摘要
《悲剧的诞生》是尼采第一部正式出版的著作,发表于1872年,此书的副标题是"从音乐的精神而来"。在致理查德.瓦格纳的序言中,尼采明确提出艺术乃是"生命的最高使命"。这一重塑艺术形而上学的使命不仅使尼采将希腊悲剧与瓦格纳的音乐联系起来,将希腊文明与现代文明联系起来,而且也把酒神节的酒神颂歌看作是理解希腊悲剧的诞生以及打开艺术形而上学与希腊精神的钥匙;同时,他也把希腊的悲剧精神归结为酒神艺术和日神艺术的二元对立与和解。
The Birth of Tragedy,Nietzsche's first formal book,was published in 1872 with the subtitle "out of the spirit of music".It is the art that would be the supreme mission of the life,as Nietzsche firmly argues in the introduction.Associating Greek tragedy with Wagner' s music,Greek civilization with modern civilization,Nietzsche sees Dionysian festival as the key to interpreter the Greek tragedy,Greek art and Greek spirit,and refines from it a kind of metaphysics of arts.Also,the spirit of Greek tragedy has been seen as the opposition and the reconciliation between Apollo and Dionysus.
