摘要
目的观察一种台式环氧乙烷灭菌器的灭菌效果。方法用生物指示剂和模拟现场灭菌试验方法,对该台式环氧乙烷灭菌器的灭菌效果进行了试验观察。结果在灭菌器内温度为50℃、相对湿度为60%条件下,接触灭菌物品的环氧乙烷用量为600 mg/L,作用4 h后,布放在灭菌器内各层的枯草杆菌黑色变种芽孢生物指示剂培养结果均为阴性。在与上述条件完全相同的情况下,染于电刀刀头、塑料注射器顶部、镊子齿痕部、全棉清洁手术巾上的枯草杆菌黑色变种芽孢均达到完全杀灭,培养结果均为阴性。在该灭菌器运行期间,工作场所环境空气中环氧乙烷的浓度低于短时间接触容许浓度2 mg/m3。结论该台式环氧乙烷灭菌器对医院常用怕热怕湿医疗器械上污染的枯草杆菌黑色变种芽孢可以达到完全杀灭,工作场所环境空气中环氧乙烷浓度在允许范围。
Objective To observe the sterilization efficacy of a desktop ethylene oxide (EO) sterilizer. Methods Bio- logical indicators and simulated field germicidal test were used to test the sterilization efficacy of the desktop ethylene oxide (EO) sterilizer. Results Under the conditions of 50℃ and 60% RH inside the sterilizer, the EO concentration reached to 600 mg/L, after exposed to this concentration of EO for 4 h, the Bacillus subtilis var. niger spores biological indicators placed on different layers of the sterilizer were negative after 7 days of culture. Under exactly the same conditions as the a- bove, the Spores of Bacillus subtilis var. niger contaminated purposely on electric shaving heads, top of plastic syringes, denta - terminal of tweezers and 100% cotton surgical towels for cleaning were totally killed and the culture results were all negative. During the time when the sterilizer was working, the EO concentration in the workplace environment was always below the acceptable concentration of short - term exposure which was estimated to be 5 mg/m3. Conclusion This EO sterilizer could completely kill the spores of Bacillus subtilis var. niger contaminated on heat - labile and humidity - labile medical instruments which commonly used in hospitals, and the EO concentration in the workplace environment was main- tained within the acceptable range.
