Some shortcomings and problems in the traditional measurement methods for vehical speed,side and longitudinal accelerations in motor vehicle dynamics tests are pointed out and analyzed in detail in this paper More reliable methods for measuring the variables(vehicle speed,side and longitudinal accelerations,sideslip angles at the vehicle mass center and the wheels,TB,and vehicle path)with higher accuracy are put forward Their errors are analyzed in detail,which is useful for evaluation test accuracy and selecting test instruments
