摘要
2008年柳州首次引入美花红千层（Callistemon citrinus）和垂枝红千层（Callistemonviminalis），经过4年多的栽培繁殖和观测研究表明：2种红千层能适应柳州市气候条件，能正常生长开花，花色鲜艳美丽，一年开2次花，观花期长达4～5个月。繁殖宜采用压条和扦插，其栽培应用技术为地栽和盆栽，是优良的观花园林树种，可在柳州及相应地区推广应用。
It was the first time to introduce Callistemon citrinus and Callistemon viminalis in 2008. After four-year cultivation and observation, the results idicated that the two kinds of Callisternon could adapt to the climate of Liuzhou and could grow and flower normally with beautiful and colorful flowers which flower twice a year and could be viewed up to 4-5 months. The breeding should adopt layering and cutting and use cultivation technologies with planted and potted. These two kinds of Callistemon were the superior ornamental landscape tree species, which could be introduced in Liuzhou and corresponding region.
