Robinson Crusoe and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are the most widely-admired English classics, on which there are numerous critical works. However, there are few critical essays exploring the inter-relationship of texts and themes between the two novels. By comparative analyzing the two novels, the paper demonstrates the origin and evolution of Europocentrism and white-racism, and the role they played in the European colonialism expansion. Then, the paper uncovers the fabrication of white-racism and the distortion of human nature caused by white--racism. Finally, the paper illustrates that freedom and racial equality can purify human nature by arousing virtues and offsetting vice.
