摘要
传统的外国文学个案研究有一套沿袭已久的模式,在分析作品和作家生平的基础上,对作家作品进行简约化、标签式的文化上的"追根溯源"。这种"概而化之"的程式化研究,实际上忽视了文学创作的具体情况,将原本复杂、立体、丰富的文学阐释简单化、平面化、概念化,在一定程度上局限和遮蔽了作家创作的实际情况。纪伯伦就是一位具有跨文化属性、却长期被国内学界"定位"为东方作家。外国文学个案研究中应以"文化间性"的视角,对传统外国文学个案研究方法进行更新,摆脱简单的文化"溯源"或"定位"观念,去展现、梳理和分析与文学创作、接受等相关的各种文化之间错综复杂的"关系",这更符合跨文化语境中的文学的真实情况。
The old model of case studies of foreign literature neglects the concrete conditions of literary creation, simplifying and conceptualizing literary interpretation which should be rich, complicated, and multi-dimensional. Kahlil Gibran is an intercultural poet who has long been regarded as an oriental writer. We should take an intercultural perspective so as to update case studies of foreign literature and sort out the complicated relations between different cultures.
