摘要
山西沁县南里乡发现一座金代砖室墓。墓仿木构建筑,单室,室内平面八角形,通壁施彩绘。色彩鲜艳,壁上方一周嵌孝子故事人物砖雕,共24幅。
The brick-chambered tomb was found at Nanli, Qinxian, Shanxi in December 1998. An imitation of
the wooden structure, it has a single chamber of an octagonal plan and its walls are covered with
paintings in fresh colors. A chain of 24 pictures in relief are found at the top of the walls, showing
the ancient filial stories.
No inscription suggesting the date was found. However,judging by its shape and structure, funerary
objects and picture, and other data from the same area, the tomb is believed to be a survival from the
middle Nurchen Jin dynasty. The tomb owner must have come from a big family, as is indicated by the
superb chamber and decoration.
