摘要
在未来的新世纪 ,高校图书馆要再创辉煌 ,必须强化自身的信息职能 ,继续以教学、科研为中心 ,开展全方位、深层次服务 ;强化自身的教育职能 ,为实施科教兴国战略 ,培养大批“全能型”高素质人才 ;拓展服务领域 ,促进产学研一体化的运行 ,推进高新科技成果迅速转化为生产力 ,真正成为“教育的利器 ,社会的动力”。
In the new century, in order to create new brilliance , the library should strengthen its information function, and go on with its comprehensive and deep-gradational service , centering around teaching and scientific research ,it alse should strengthen its educational function, and cultivate large quantities of all-round talents of high quality to carry on the policy of rejurenate China by applying scientific and educational advances; it also should widen the field of service, promote the operation of “an organic whole' of production, study and research, and give impetus to transforming hi-tec achievements into productive forces, making them really become “the efficient instrument of education, and the motive force of society'.
