Synthesis of Diphenyl Carbonate by Transesterification of DMC and PhOH over Lewis Acid Catalysts

摘要 研究了几种Lewis酸催化酯交换合成碳酸二苯酯 (DPC) ,其中AlCl3 具有最高的催化活性。在常压下 ,1 6 0~ 1 90℃时 ,当n (苯酚 )∶n (碳酸二甲酯 )∶n (AlCl3 ) =4∶1∶0 0 6 ,反应时间 1 4h ,碳酸二甲酯 (DMC)转化率为 2 5 5 % ,DPC产率 2 2 3% ,碳酸甲苯酯 (MPC)产率 2 2 % ,苯甲醚1 0 % ,DPC的选择性 87 5 %。 Diphenyl carbonate(DPC) was synthesized by transesterification of dimethyl carbonate(DMC) with phenol(PhOH) in the presence of Lewis acid catalysts.Of the several catalysts tested,AlCl\-3 has highest activity for the reaction.When the reaction was carried out for 14h at n(PhOH)∶n(DMC)∶n(AlCl\-3)=4∶1∶0 06 and temperature 160-190 ℃,the total conversion of DMC was 25 5%,the selectivity for DPC was 87 5% and the yields of DPC,methylphenyl carbonate and anisole were 22 3%,2 2% and 1 0% respectively.
