摘要
一个由两个3×3单模光纤耦合器组成的三光纤系统的马赫-曾德尔(Mach-Zehnder)干涉仪型波长交错滤波器采用光纤传输理论和傅立叶级数的方法分析了输出谱特性,当干涉仪的三条光纤干涉臂两两之间分别存在长度差ΔL和-ΔL时,干涉仪形成了一个波分复用间隔相等的三波分复用器,通过数值优化得出了两光纤耦合器耦合比的最佳值,并对两个光纤耦合器的耦合容差进行了严格的理论分析,发现作为输入端的耦合器有较好的耦合容差,这对器件在制作有一定的实际应用价值.
The output spectrum characteristic of a three-port all-fiber optical interferometer using two 3×3 single-mode fiber couplers connected by 3 single-mode fibers is analysed.Based on the principle of characteristics of fiber transmissivity and Fourier series digital approximation method,the complex amplitude output spectral is established and described by the expression using the coupling coefficient and length difference.When the lengths of these 3 single-mode fiber are L,L+ΔL,and L-ΔL,respectively,this interferometer acts as a 3 channel wavelength-division-multiplexer.The wave-length between two channels is dependent on ΔL only.The optimum coupling coefficient values of the two fiber couplers are obtained by numerical optimization.Furthermore,the coupling tolerance of the two fiber couplers are analysed strictly by theory,and that the fiber coupler as input-port has better coupling tolerance than the fiber coupler as output-port.The conclusion has important value in designing and manufacturing the interleaver with various couplers.
