Tone-mapping algorithm based on gradient compression

摘要 为了能够在传统的显示设备上显示高动态范围图像,探讨基于梯度压缩的色阶重建算法,以其对高动态范围图像进行压缩。该算法通过对图像的梯度进行衰减来修改亮度图像的梯度域,并在修改后的梯度域上求解泊松方程,结果得到一个新的低动态范围图像。实验证明,该算法对动态范围进行压缩的同时能保留图像很好的细节,可避免传统方法所出现的光晕和梯度反转等问题。 To display high dynamic range images on a conventional displayer,the tone-mapping algorithm based on gradient compression is introduced to conduct some compression.With this algorithm,the gradient of luminance image can be modified as the magnitude of gradient is attenuated,a Possion equation on the modified gradient is determined,and thus,a new low dynamic range image can be obtained.Experimental results show that,the introduced algorithm can make a compressed image with little information being lost;besides,it can avoids problems of halos or gradients reversals which appeared in conventional algorithm ever.
