摘要
出身传统士绅之家的林同济在二十世纪二十年代开始了其长达八年的留美生涯。在留美期间,林备受当时在西方广为流传的各种思潮的影响,正是在此时期,林确定了其文化形态学的史学基础。1934年回国后,特别是抗战发生后,处于大后方昆明教授群之中,受时局的刺激,林逐渐放弃原来著书立说的意愿,开始尝试办期刊,《战国策》半月刊应运而生。林针对中国抗战时期文化建设方法问题在《战国策》发表了《第三期的中国学术思潮》一文。该文是林形态史观与学术方法论相结合的典范,一经发表,各界反响颇巨。
Lin Tongji, who was born to a traditional genteel family, started his eight-year study in America in the 1920s. During his study in America, Lin was greatly influenced by various thought trends which were then widespread in the west. It was at that time that Lin established historical base for his cultural morphology. After returning to China in 1934, especially when the Anti-Japanese War broke out, among those professors in the great rear area in Kunming, Lin, who was stimulated by the current situation, gradually gave up his original intention of writing books, and tried to start publishing journals. A semimonthly The Warring States Scheme thus emerged. Aiming at Chinese cultural construction during the Anti-Japanese War, Lin published an article tided ＂the Chinese Academic Thought of Phase III＂ on The Warring States Scheme, This article is a classic example of the combination of Lin＇s morphology of history and academic methodologies. And its publication had a considerable effect in various circles.
