A Case Study of Using CVM to Measure Social Value of Libraries Abroad

摘要对国外公共图书馆和高校图书馆应用CVM评估其社会价值的案例进行分析,认为采用CVM可以更好地评估其社会价值,同时需要正视CVM所存在的不足,综合采用多种评估方法,并结合我国图书馆的自身特点开展评估。 It is necessary to use CVM to measure the social value of libraries. We study the social value measurements of public libraries and academic libraries abroad by CVM, and conclude that CVM is significant to domestic libraries;Meanwhile we should envisage the defect of CVM, make comprehensive use of several measure methods and integrate with the library specialty to do the measurement activities.
