Influence of a Strong Magnetic Field on the Quartz Crystal Resonators

摘要 基于磁-弹性耦合理论以及预应力模态分析理论,结合实验方法解释石英晶体谐振器在强磁场影响下频率变化的原因。结果表明,石英晶体谐振器的磁性支架在受到磁场的影响产生相应的应力沿石英晶片的边缘作用于石英晶体导致其谐振频率发生变化。该结果对如何减小磁场对石英晶体谐振器的影响有一定的参考价值。 This paper investigates the causes why frequency of the quartz crystal resonator shifts under the influence of a magnetic field.It is found that the frequency shifts of the quartz crystal resonators are mainly due to the magneto-mechanical response of the holders of the resonator and the related stresses in the resonator.Understanding and prediction of this effect may be useful for reducing the resonator frequency shifts or strong magnetic field sensing.
