摘要
转喻是人类基本的思维和认知方式,其对语言的发展起了重要作用。概念转喻思维在词汇词义理解、词义扩展及概念转喻思维模式方面产生了积极效用。转喻思维有助于学生英语词汇习得,转喻理论对词汇教学具有积极的指导意义。
Metonymy, as the basic thinking and cognitive mechanism, plays an important role in language development. Metonymic thinking has a positive effect on words meaning, semantic extension and metonymic thinking model. Metonymic thinking contributes to students＇ English vocabulary acquisition and metonymic theory is of positive guidance in the vocabulary teaching.
