摘要
媒介事件作为一个特定概念,首先由美国学者丹尼尔.戴扬与伊莱休.卡茨在其1992年出版的《媒介事件:历史的现场直播》中提出。他们认为,电视和直播是媒介事件发生的基础,通过电视进行直播才能提供最大范围观众的邀请式观看;电视天然地扮演中立和公平的角色;媒介事件可以达成类同于宗教式的社会氛围,即媒介事件的萨满教化。对《媒介事件》梳理可以发现,从"媒介事件"的原始概念出发,媒介事件的内涵和外延过窄,大量的重大新闻事件不能被定义为媒介事件,而电视作为媒介事件的介质,天然的中立无法令人信服,这削弱了此概念的说服力。
As the proponent of the initial concept,the book "Media Event" thinks television and broadcasting is the basis of media events and the live broadcasting on TV will provide the maximum range of audiences' Invite-style watch.In the meantime,TV has the role which is considered to be independent and fair.Such role is also given naturally with no need to be proved.Furthermore,the enormous power of influence and persuation of media events are completely equal to the treatment of Shamannizing.The comprehensive study and analysis of the book "Media Events" discover that the connotation and denotation of media events are too narrow according to the original concept and the natural independence of television as the medium of media events is unconvincing.All these undermine the persuation of this concept.
