介绍了远程启动多种操作系统工作站的意义和目的，描述了远程启动各种工作站（Ｌｉｎｕｘ／ＤＯＳ／Ｗｉｎｄｏｗｓ９５／９８／ＮＴ） 的安装方法，给出了用ＩｎＣｏｍ 公司ＢｏｏｔＰｒｏｍ 实现远程启动网络的系统解决方案，最后对瘦客户方式这一与远程启动相关的概念作了说明。
This article introduces the meaning and target of remote boot workstation under multiple operating systems, and describes the installation methods of remoteboot various workstation(Linux/DOS/Windows95/98/NT). Then a systematic solution of remoteboot network using the bootprom from InCom company is given, and the thinclient concept relative to remoteboot is present at last.
