摘要
为了研究PcBN刀具在干式连续车削条件下刀具的性能,选用两种不同的PcBN刀具,在不同切削速度及不同工件硬度条件下,对淬硬钢进行车削试验。在此基础上,对刀具前、后刀面的显微形貌特征进行了观察,分析了刀具的失效机理。结果表明:切削速度对刀具的切削寿命影响很大,随着切削速度的增加刀具寿命几乎线性下降。硬度也是影响刀具切削寿命的重要因素之一,当v〈190m/min时,刀具切削硬度为(64±1)HRC工件的寿命比相同条件下切削硬度为(61±1)HRC工件的寿命下降约40%-60%。刀尖温度随着切削速度的增加不多,切屑温度要比刀尖温度高出许多。在本试验中,刀具的失效判据为崩刃或后刀面平均磨损超过0.3mm。
In order to explore the capability of PcBN tools in the condition of dry continuous cutting, two kinds of PcBN cutters were used to turn hardened steel workpiece of different hardness at different cutting speed. The wear of rake and flank faces was observed, the failure mechanisms of the tools were analyzed. The results showed that the cutting speed was one of the main factors which influence the tool life, and the tool life decreased almost linearly with the cutting speed increasing. The hardness of PcBN tools was another influence factor. At the cutting speed below 190 m/min, the tool life when cutting high hardness (64± 1 )HRC workpiece decreased by about 40 % - 60 % , compared with the case of low hardness (61 ± 1 ) HRC workpiece. The temperature at the cutting nose increased less with the cutting speed increasing, but the temperature at the chips was much higher than at the cutting nose. In this experiment, breakage or flank average wear 〉 0. 3 mm is considered as the tool failure criterion.
