摘要
与法兰克福学派的精英主义视角不同的是,英国伯明翰学派通过论证文化的大众性而开辟了一条崭新的道路,推动了文化研究这门学科的形成和西方人文学界的"文化转向"。这种证明的实质是通过对时代关键词如"文化"等进行重新赋义而为英国工人阶级和普通人民争夺话语权的过程,这对于当代中国建构自身的文化话语权是一种启迪。
Different from the elitist views of Frankfurt School,the Birmingham School in the U.K.opened up a new way by arguing that culture was popular or common,and helped to set up the discipline of cultural studies and promote the ＂cultural turn＂ of western humanities.The essence of this argument was to fight for the voices of the British working class and ordinary people by re-meaning the keywords of the times,such as ＂culture＂.It is an inspiration for constructing the contemporary Chinese voices of culture of our own.
